A Focus On Education

Welcome to the Linda Loring Nature Foundation on Nantucket. The Foundation was established in 1999 by Linda Loring as a private operating foundation in Massachusetts. The property along Eel Point Road is 270 acres of pristine natural habitat that surrounds the Head of Long Pond. The Linda Loring Nature Foundation is dedicated to being stewards of the property and fostering learning that promotes environmental awareness. While the property is not yet open to the public, environmental education programs with local schools and collaborative activities with partner organizations are taking place.
